Zynga Announces First platform for social games

When approaching an IPO almost certain, that could allow him to lift more than a billion dollars, Zynga does not hide his consuming ambition for growth. In his new brand new headquarters in San Francisco, including industrial architecture taken from behind all the trends in Silicon Valley, the publisher of online games Tuesday introduced a wave of new products to expand its presence on social networks and explore new markets with high potential.
Since its founding in 2007, the California company has grown exponentially with free games become essential on Facebook, as Farmville, CityVille and Mafia Wars. Its founder and CEO, Mark Pincus, intended to perpetuate this success with the launch of "Project Z", a platform for online game in which all games will be centralized Facebook brand.  This project, in preparation for two years, wants to give greater independence Zynga eliminating any intermediary between the company and the players. No question as to completely turn his back on Facebook, which generates almost all revenue from the publisher with whom he signed last year a five-year partnership.
Thanks to Facebook Connect, "Project Z" will integrate with Facebook accounts seamlessly, allowing players to switch at will from one platform to another and to find their friends . This new gaming environment for players also propose to use a pseudonym rather than their name and reward their accomplishments with zCoins, a virtual currency to own Zynga games.  Mobile presence "Our goal is to provide players with their favorite games wherever they are," professes John Schappert, executive vice president of Zynga. The publisher, which has long snubbed mobile devices, today sees tremendous growth opportunities and wants to be present on all platforms.
Three sets of lights Zynga (Zynga Poker FarmVille Express and Words with Friends) and will accompany the launch of the mobile version of Facebook, technology-based HTML5.  Franchises to maturity The editor in California, who explained his poor performance particularly in the second quarter by the lack of new products, put out all the stops to give its flagship sagas new iterations. Furthermore Mafia Wars 2, online since the beginning of the week, Zynga introduced CastleVille Tuesday, his game's most ambitious to date.
Screenplay larger than its predecessors, the game is presented by its creators as a simplified version of World of Warcraft, where players can explore with his friends a fantasy world of inspiration.
The heavy artillery will not be too face the threat of Social Sims (Electronic Arts), hit of the summer in September, which attracted over 66 million players on Facebook.
