Samsung Galaxy Nexus: all the technical details (official)

This time, it's good. The Samsung Nexus Galaxy has finally been officially unveiled by Samsung and Google.
Exit the Samsung Nexus Prime, the next smartphone featuring 100% Google will finally called Samsung Galaxy Nexus. But that's not really a surprise since the Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo has already spilled the beans yesterday.

Google and Samsung have announced that as expected the new smartphone as part of a joint conference in Hong Kong.  Its technical specifications are not a surprise since all the leaks in recent days have proved accurate. Here are the details of the features it offers:
• Dimensions of 135.5 x 67.9 x 8.9 mm and a weight of 135 grams • A screen HD Super AMOLED 4.65 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels • A processor double heart Texas Instruments (TI) OMAP 4460 clocked at 1.2 GHz, and ARM Cortex A9 • 1 GB of memory (RAM) • A sensor 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel camera facial • A battery of 1750 mAh • 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage depending on the country, and no memory card reader • It is able to shoot in 1080p, that is to say, in a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, presumably by High Profile • It also offers the ability to watch movies in 1080p, whether locally or on You Tube • It offers comprehensive connectivity with USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, assisted GPS (A-GPS) and the NFC. It will be available in HSPA + (3G +) or LTE (4G), according to countries • It also embeds an accelerometer, a compass, a gyroscope, a proximity sensor ... and even a barometer! A first for a mobile. • It is the first to run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which you will find a full description here.
The only two points of surprising this data sheet is the presence of a TI OMAP 4 processor and not Samsung Exynos, and the photo sensor "only" 5 megapixels. Even if it's more than enough and in the end, it's more the quality of premium sensor, the resolution pales next to "marketing". Many users swear Unfortunately, the number of megapixels.
And the Big Bad iPhone 4S features for its part a 8 megapixel sensor, like the Motorola Razr Droid announced yesterday.  There is no release date or price for now. But if Google is modeled on the outputs of its previous Nexus, the smartphone should be available in November in the United States, and later at home.  By clicking here you can explore the page that Google has just opened for the promotion of Galaxy Nexus.
