The European version of the RAZR has a Droid unlocked bootloader

Recently announced in the U.S. mobile operator Verizon Wireless, the Motorola Droid RARZ happen also in Canada through Rogers SFR and France, with a move to Android Ice Cream Sandwich in early 2012.
In the past, it was already possible to unlock the bootloader formally and informally of Atrix.
This policy is adopted again at Motorola, as the good news is that the version announced in Europe, will leave the choice of locking or unlocking the bootloader, while the version LTE (4G) Verizon Wireless will officially locked .
Unfortunately, the release of the bootloader will be, as the Atrix, no possibility of return. Basically, once the bootloader is unlocked, it will no longer be possible to re-block.
To be clear, the manufacturer's warranty on the hardware part is still valid, but the warranty on the software part will not be anymore.
Initiative Motorola or Google? Anyway, hackers and developers from the community will no doubt be delighted to learn that the development of Roma and hacks alternatives may be possible on the Droid RAZR, leaving a door open for CyanogenMod, the alternative kernels (overclock the cpu, better sound effects, improved wireless reception: bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi.) and many other possibilities achievable.
Who knows, a hacker may find how to re-lock informally.
