The Optimus U1, the first Android smartphone from LG ICS, which will follow with the Optimus 2X later

From an anonymous source, our colleagues at GSM Arena have received a picture that would be the first Korean LG smartphone running Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

At first glance, LG seems to have worked the sides that are now far less imposing than before, with a design generally more successful.
The specifications of this LG Optimus U1 are not yet known, but presumably it will display a screen with a diagonal of 4 to 4.5 inches with a resolution high-definition, a dual-core architecture (OMAP4?) Or perhaps a quad-core architecture (Kal-El?). Anyway, it will offer a good front camera (unknown size) and an 8 megapixel camera on the back with a flash.
For now, we only know that it will arrive later in the year 2012. Okay, we know that this time the Korean automaker will update its Optimus 2X, Optimus 3D and Optimus Black to Android Gingerbread.
But why put so much time? So they should have been announced much earlier.
Finally, the decision on the update of the LG Optimus 2X to Android ICS was officially confirmed when Google has released the source code. In addition, Korean always thought that the other terminals will benefit. After we have no idea when / s out / have.
Meanwhile, there is always the Roma customs for more hackers.
